Kathy Obbish was raised on the South Side of Chicago and has lived in the area all her life. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and French from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. Kathy worked with Abercrombie & Kent in their Special Interest Groups & Incentives department before joining Custom Safaris. Kathy and Linda have worked together for over 30 years. Kathy specializes in Southern Africa and is renowned for designing one-of-a-kind, private travel experiences around the world. She has been recognized by Condé Nast for the past 18 years as a travel specialist. Kathy is also the mother of three daughters, all of whom are nurses.
